Brand New is coming to Houston on July 2nd (i know i already mentioned that down there).

Damien Rice is coming to Houston on July 9th.

In case you weren't counting... that's a seven day stretch of musical awesomeness.

Sometimes life just works out like that.

Here's a quote to chew on:

"You have never spoken to a mere mortal"
-C.S.L.

I could explain what he was saying, but I think it's better this way.

Be Here Now

over the weekend i discovered a great CD for roadtrips... "Be Here Now" from Oasis. such a fantastic blend of high energy songs... choruses that make you sing along... and really only one (maybe 2) tracks worth skipping. i know it doesn't have the "hits" like Whats the Story Morning Glory does, but it more than makes up for it with the way they give every song everything they've got. just when you think a song could fade away into the next... there comes another notch. next time you're out in the country just driving, give it a spin all the way through. you'll be pleasently surprised.

anybody else have any road-trip-favorites? i'm always open for suggestions.

later.
